I graduated from Emporia High School in 2006. I attended Kansas State University following that and graduated with my Bachelor’s in Education in 2010. I will be completing my Masters in the Spring of 2021 in Library Science. 

This is my fourth year working in Augusta at the high school. The first two years here I taught Social Studies and then I moved into the library and media specialist position last year. 

Prior to working in Augusta I taught History at Wichita North HIgh School. 

I live with my family in Andover Kansas, which is where my children attend school. I live with my husband that I met while attending K-State and my two girls. I also have dog that’s a sweet old lady. 

As you can guess, working as a librarian means I love to read in my spare time. I also enjoy art and exercising and generally spending time with my family.
