Social Studies Teacher
I am a 2004 graduate of Augusta High School. From there, I attended Dodge City Community College and graduated in 2006. I attended one year at Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, and finished up my bachelor’s degree at Fort Hays State University in 2010. In 2017, I graduated with a master’s degree from Emporia State University. I am currently pursuing a certificate in Educational Leadership from Fort Hays State University.

I began teaching and coaching at Augusta High School in the fall of 2016. I currently teach World History and American History. I also teach the AVID elective for sophomores. I am also the Head Boys Basketball Coach and Assistant Boys Golf Coach.
I started teaching in 2010 at Canton-Galva High School in Canton, Kansas. From there I moved to the Goddard School District where I taught one year at the Goddard Academy and three years at Goddard High School. While at Goddard High School, I taught World History, Sociology, and Psychology. I also coached the JV Boys Basketball team and was the Head Cross Country coach.
I have been happily married to my wife since 2011. We have two beautiful daughters and three dogs. Our lives our busy between sports and family activities.
In my spare time, I try to keep myself active with sports and other activities. I am an avid runner and enjoy being outdoors doing yardwork and playing with my daughters.
