Marchig Band Earns 1 (Superior) Rating
The Pride of Augusta strikes again!
The Augusta Schools USD 402 - Augusta High School Marching Band earned a 1 Rating (Superior) at the Central States Marching Festival held at Kansas State University on Saturday, October 4! Bands from across Kansas performed throughout the day, concluding with an exciting show by the K-State Marching Band.
This marks the 4th consecutive year our Oriole band has earned a Superior Rating — an incredible accomplishment! 
This year’s show, “The Gladiator,” features music arrangements by James Hollingsworth. The band is directed by Mr. Hollingsworth and Todd Hollis, with Color Guard Coaches Samantha Madorin and Alex Christian, Drumline Instructor Jacob Reavis, and Drum Majors Ana Huerta and Reid Shelite leading the charge.
